Dr. Blackwell received her PhD from DePaul University in Experimental Psychology with a specialization in Developmental Psychology in 2003. She was asked to teach undergrad research methods and supervise honors theses in only her second year of grad school. She has a keen and recognized ability to turn research ideas into doable projects and has worked with hundreds of students in this capacity. Her talent is in teaching from a learner's perspective while at the same promoting feelings of personal adequacy and empowerment.
